Strategic Accounts Intern // Spring 2018

The OneSpot strategic accounts team is growing! We’re looking for a passionate, motivated Strategic Accounts Intern who will support the strategic accounts team in various initiatives to drive new sales and expand opportunities with existing clients. Your fingerprints will be on all aspects of our new business, renewal, and land and expand strategy and execution. The ideal intern will have a mixture of strategic and analytical abilities with lots of willingness to learn the strategic account and sales function and eagerness to own initiatives that make a real impact on the company.

Here’s what our Strategic Accounts Intern’s responsibilities will be:

  • Assist Strategic Account Directors in proposal planning and proposal building to support new business as well as land and expand initiatives
  • Assist Market Development Directors in prospect research and list building
  • Conduct detailed audits of prospects’ content marketing programs, technology stack, executive POVs, etc. to inform proposals, presentations and targeted outreach
  • Administrative support and coordination as needed including logging activities in Salesforce.com, preparing for meetings, gathering collateral, etc.

Here’s what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

  • College Junior or Senior studying business, marketing, communications, advertising, MIS, innovation, entrepreneurship or other related major
  • Comfort with hitting deadlines, executive-level visibility into your work and owning tactical initiatives that directly impact the company’s growth
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
  • Solid project management skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in content marketing, personalization or AI-based technologies a plus
  • Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within team environment
  • Available to work in the Spring on a part-time basis in our Soho-based New York City office with potential to extend through the Summer
  • Excitement and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Note: This is a paid internship by the hour.
